Today, work got a tad overwhelming and I decided to make a small cake for a colleague of mine - hoping to cheer her up! ... and i knew i just had to create this!
Love the coconut trees against the sky blue fondant.. it sure did make her day.

Animals inspiro
I've been dabbling around with a couple of animal theme ideas as I got a little NatGeo-inspired. The lion was a tad tricky as the thick dark mane got too heavy for the molded head. Shall try to do the big five animals in the safaris.. can't wait to have a safari theme order!

For all passionate bakers out there, you would probably agree with me -
Very often, we would look, we would feel, we would then imagine the cakes, pastries and cookies that can be created with every new baking toy we buy. Even a simple rolling pin - crispy woody touch that just makes me excited thinking of how well my next cookie dough will be flattened out on the table top.
